deadlines - webbing and bodysuit

I go out for drinks with friends on Thursday evenings.  We meet on the early side, around 8:30pm, and leave before the party crowd arrives.
I got home from work and went to the gym.  I got back to the house a few minutes before 7pm.  And I asked soundsFun if he wanted some dungeon time.  We recognized that we were under a deadline.

This became about creating stunning visuals.  I handed soundsFun a white bodysuit.  And I got out climbing webbing.  I didn't have enough of any length of my color coded webbing to do a single color tie.  So I settled for doing the body in one color and the limbs in another.

With a longer piece of webbing I was able to do the chest harness continuing into the shoulder straps.  I tried adding an additional set of shoulder straps with a differently colored piece of webbing added on a larks head.  But the knot between the shoulder blades became too bulky, and I stripped it off.

I have been less excited with the reversed double swiss seat.  For this tie I used the single reversed swiss seat only to hold a structural rope harness in position.  I was pleased.

The limbs were a little difficult.  While working out I had a heavily caffeinated N.O.-Xplode (lovingly referred to as "I can't believe it's not crack!").  My hands were shaking a little from the caffeine.  After the wrists I decided that I probably don't need a fourth wrap of 1" webbing per limb.

The lift was done from the workout bench.  Starting nearer to the final height meant that the partial lifts weren't uncomfortable.  Since I was using climbing webbing, it seemed appropriate to use climbing rope for the vertical lines.

I was planning to rope over a leather blindfold.  But it worked better to just use a webbing rope corset as the blindfold.  I tied this to position the head at the correct angle.  This apparently made the tie more comfortable.

The blindfold took a lot longer than I had expected, and it was already 8:15pm.  We took 5 minutes of photos and I let him down.  First the arms, then the legs, then the hips, then the torso.  I untied knots.

I took a quick shower and met up with friends.
