soundsFun and I took lessons from Suspended Animation. The straight riggers for suspended animation use beautiful metal suspension bars with integrated suspension rings.
Straight bondage is slightly different than gay bondage.
A friend of ours works with metal, and asked what we would like in a suspension bar. We sketched out a concept using msPaint. It was basically the standard bar used for rope suspension by straight riggers with the equipment bondage attach points from gay bondage.
The piece of metal that he gave us is one of the most amazing things I've seen in metal. The welds are beautiful. We showed it to an engineer rigger we know. His only criticism was that minor variations in the more complicated welds might only allow it to hold half the weight of an American-made automobile. More than sufficient.
soundsFun has used the suspension bar in a number of fantastic rope suspensions (photos on his site). But I hadn't got a chance to use it yet. It was time to use this thing of beauty.
I used humane restraints. I thought that this might involve a little tugging with limbs, so I used the restraints with attached rings rather the recent pattern of thick wire through slots.
I started with legs to the outside. After shifting soundsFun to his back I attached his wrists to the bar. When he stroked his dick I attached the winch and lifted his hands and feet up. There was some mild molestation.
I shifted soundsFun to his front, and added a large steel collar. I was planning to attach to the neck. There was the possibility of pressure from the legs, so I needed to use a wide collar to spread weight if necessary.
I attached two of the collar attachments to the very top of the spreader bar. I attached his wrists to the middle of the spreader bar. I attached his ankles to the bottom of the spreader bar. It was very hot.
I applied lube and pushed a large vibrator into his butt. I used some very nice bondage-wrap to attach the vibrator to the base of the spreader bar. Wrapping through a smaller diameter shibari ring was a little more difficult than I expected. I found that it was easiest to spread a loop through the shibari ring, passing it over the end of the vibrator and pulling it tight back through the ring.
Everything I had done previously this evening had done had worked well. Then things went badly. I got out my new ErosTek312b.
