Research and Development: chain boxtie

I saw some beautiful chain bondage on sparkySea's recon profile.  I wanted to do some research and development along these lines.

This was the 2nd time that I had ever met soundsFun.  After I let him down from the ceiling, I got out chain.

This yellow chain is made of plastic.  It has a working load of 30lbs.  But that's strong enough for non-structural pieces.  And it's more than strong enough in places that don't have directly opposing large muscles.

This was held together with the small clips from Home Depot.

SoundsFun couldn't escape from this.

I do worry.  The chain goes on the outside of the arms.  The radial nerve goes somewhere in there.  Complete Shibari Volume 1: Land says that the radial nerve is at the intersection of the bicep, tricep, and deltoid. Max talks about cadaver studies showing the vulnerable spot a bit closer to the elbow.  Feeling around my own arms I can find uncomfortable spots in both places.  When I fully hyper-extend my arm my tricep pushes against the upper of the two of these spot and causes tingling in my fingers.

This wasn't the first attempt.   My first attempt didn't have the connection between the shoulder blades.
missing the connection between the shoulder blades
SoundsFun was able to slip the chain off his shoulders and escape.
just after soundsFun escaped
I will definitely do this again.
