modified frogtie

I was made curious by a gear photo on recon.  It showed a very simple leather restraint frogtie.

It looked like it was possible to do this with rope, which would be more restrictive, and possibly more comfortable.

We workshopped this with the humane restraints that I like, and small padlocks.

Then I got out rope.

At the suggestion of a man that I deeply respect I acquired a small amount of silk rope.  It is softer than hemp, doesn't seem to ropeburn easily, and is stronger than hemp, so usable in suspension.  It's a little more difficult to untie.  This tie involves a full 75% of my the entirety of my silk rope.

The hands and feet are done with a simple square lashing.  I have taken to using a variant that I saw used by codyTx at IML.  It skips the rope bend between the wraps and the frappes.  It seems to flow more naturally.  I am not yet sure if it is less secure.

The silk rope is slightly ticklish.

This position is usable.  Placing the top's hands between the bottom's body and elbows makes it significantly more challenging for the bottom.

I had tied the wrists to the inside of the ankles for comfort.  But soundsFun demonstrated that they would have been more secure on the outside of the ankles.
