The D-rings on the outside of my sleepsack are structural attach points. This came as a surprise to me after looking carefully at photos on the manufacturer's website. At the two day bondage intensive, Max talked about them being strong. (obviously not quite as strong as the huge leather straps at the shoulders, but strong enough) I decided to try a complicated lift.
I have a suspension sleepsack. In combination with the winch it is pretty easy to get somebody suspended vertically.
After getting soundsFun suspended vertically I connected a set of chains from the ceiling to the hips. I then lowered his shoulders until they were at the same height as his hips at my waist level. I lifted his legs to connect them to chains at the same height.
soundsFun mentioned that the difference in angle of support between his shoulders and hips was a little difficult. So I added chains to the outside of the arms. Again this was done by lifting shoulders with the winch, connecting slack chain and lowering.
There were a couple places where directed muscle was used. But never more than 30-40lbs.
Once he was happily suspended at the correct height it was time for a little bit of play.
The suspension had made me feel comfortable. The bondage wrap made me feel less so. The bondage wrap is like saran wrap, but opaque and black. It sticks to itself, but not to flesh. Like saran wrap, slack bondage wrap will tent to collapse from sheets into ropes. Like saran wrap this can be overcome with lots of extra wraps. I used the bondage wrap to attached a Hitachi magic wand to soundsFun's body.
I applied paddle through the sleepsack to soundsFun's buttocks. I spent some time with an 8 inch flogger and a riding crop both through the outside of the sleepsack, and after opening the front zipper.
It was a good afternoon.
