I find the pads and the uniforms and the gloves and the protective gear exciting. When I really thought about it, the three pieces that are sexualized in my mind are the cup, the gloves, and the stick. Through amazon and a used sporting gear store I acquired these articles.
I brought the gear to a couple play parties without getting to use it. I did use the hockey stick in some chain bondage with lockedSteel, but I needed more.
There's an separation on the back of the wrist on the gloves. The seam in the padding goes almost all the way to the wrist. Tying rope tightly into this seam holds the hand in the gloves relatively well.
This ended up as a simple square lashing hand to stick. The ropes had a tendency to move within the lashing. I think that this could have been solved by crossing some of the lines across the back of the hands. Additional wraps around the stick held the hands in place. But I really needed to cover the stick in grip tape to keep things further secured.

But simple standing bondage didn't fulfil my fantasies. An attempt at a partial suspension face-down put a surprising amount of stress on the shoulders, and didn't photograph well.
I started over with soundsFun face down on the floor. The gloves tie pretty well together in a two-column tie with frapping lines. I couldn't figure out how to involve the hockey stick in ways that wouldn't interfere with play. The two column tie over the gloves was surprisingly secure.
