I got suspended up by soundsFun at the suspendedAnimation practice class on a recent Saturday. It hurt.
I was managing pain. I started perspiring. My breathing became shallow and fast. I tried to move around to try to trade off pain on my chest for pain in my thigh and waist. Eventually I had to safeword out.
Afterwards I talked to soundsFun and the TAs of the class. They commented that essentially all rope suspensions involve pain at some point. And soundsFun commented that while the gunslinger was more comfortable that he would often be holding back tears at some point.
The next day I had some unexpected play with wildCuddler and lockedSteel. At points wildCuddler had lockedSteel howling in pain with skillful manipulation of lockedSteel's nipples. Despite the wails of pain, lockedSteel never safeworded out of the scene. As his screams filled the room I wanted to curl up into a ball. The next day lockedSteel sent us a thank-you note.
I understand that both soundsFun and I are good rope tops.
I understand that I'm not good as a rope bottom.
I understand that what I experienced was not what the boys I put in rope experience.
I try to understand what the boys that bottom for me are going through. But sometimes I am baffled.
