We have renamed the new canine"shibari". It sounds pretty close to her original name, and she responds about as well to the new name.
While she's physically a senior dog at 8 years old, this is her first real home as a pet. A lot of the behaviours we are seeing from her are reminiscent of a puppy.
The puppy has started to play with squeaky toys. I am so proud.
